another day, another dollar, another meeting, another conversation.  My day is almost complete.

We had a special meeting for the Township Planning Commission.  We really seemed to get a lot done tonight.  The Master Plan is almost done, we are presenting it to the Township Board.  Then we will get to have a Public Hearing, oh joy.  We also approved a new ordinance on wind energy for our township.  This also gets to go to Public Hearing, so on November 10, I get to run my first Public Hearing.

Wind energy is coming.  There is no doubt that windmills will be very common sights around here.  We are preparing for that giving placement some regulation.  We are not the first though, Grant Twp. has had one inplace for several months now.

We are also working on revising the current zoning ordinance.  It is quite old and disorganized.  This is long overdue.

Life is amazing, exhilarating, depressing.  What an emotional rollercoaster it is that we call life.  What a broad range of feelings, experiences, events.
